The following are Paintings which doubled as backdrops to the acting scenes.  They were blown up and displayed on a framed screen.

"The Professor" by Mary Beth Holladay

The Professor (alias Hans Schaefer) was the
main character in this year's performance of
"Von Zeit zu Zeit".  He disappeared into his
time machine and the entire evening was spent visiting the places he visited in hopes of
helping him to return to present day.

"Vienna" by Jim Meyer

This lovely ballroom setting filled
the screen while the actual artist,
Jim, danced the waltz elegantly
with his wife Sara.

"Venice" by Stephanie Miller

The Professor clad in a striped shirt with a straw hat,
steered the gondola while Len Reed sang "O Solo Mio".

"Rome"  by Alyssa Smith

Students from BFA were dressed as monks and
 carried candles while singing
a BeeGees song which was written
to sound like a Gregarian chant, with this
painting as the backdrop

"The Conservatory" by Jana Hoskins

Used as a backdrop while Christian Kochersheidt shared about his 95 year old grandmother,
who stepped into Eternity a few days before Candlelight Dinner.

"Paris" by Jana Hoskins

A medley of songs from "Les Mis" was beautifully performed by BFA students and staff.

"Peru" by Rick Holladay

Josh Stuckey played his xylephone while "Pedro" and his llama looked on!

"Egypt" by Manda Thompson

Three surly ladies sang "Walk Like An Egyptian" with this piece behind them.

"Appalachia" by Mary Beth Holladay

A father/daughter duet twanged out country lyrics and had the crowd clapping along with them.

"Mexico" by Heidi Forman

"Mexico" was the setting for guitarists with sombreros and dancers in colorful swinging skirts.

"Berlin" by Heidi Forman

Swing Dancers and Singers in 30's costumes had this Dance hall scene behind them.

"Greece" by Jana Hoskins

An amazing rendition of the Spartans in battle was the backdrop for a re-enactment of "300" by HBR dorm guys.

"Korea" by Jim Meyer

Korean students danced with beautiful fans and traditional costumes with this as their background.
